Senior Provider Credentialing Specialist

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay:$29.85-$31.98/hour
• Schedule:Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Employment Type: Full-Time | W2
ROLE IMPACT
Support a healthcare organization by ensuring providers are credentialed, enrolled, and maintained in compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements. Success in this role means accurate provider records, timely credentialing and recredentialing, proactive license and certification tracking, and effective collaboration with medical staff and leadership to support quality patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate provider credentialing, recredentialing, and enrollment activities.
• Verify provider education, training, licensure, certifications, and clinical experience while maintaining complete and accurate credentialing records.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, medical staff bylaws, and organizational policies.
• Monitor provider licenses, certifications, and credential expiration dates to ensure timely renewals.
• Mentor team members, support process improvement initiatives, and serve as a resource for credentialing requirements and provider privileges.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma required.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) certification preferred.
• 3+ years of provider credentialing AND/OR medical staff services
• Must reside within a 30-mile radius of Irving, TX.
