Overview
The Department of Social Work at Providence College in Providence, RI, invites applications for a one-year position as a visiting assistant professor commencing in August 2026. The salary range for this position is $66,000-$76,000.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach a total of six courses (3 credits each) during the 2026-2027 academic year. Classes are held in person.
Education and Experience
We seek outstanding candidates who are committed to inclusive practices and hold a Master's in Social Work (MSW). A PhD in social work work or a closely related field or DSW is preferred.
