What is protesting?

Protesting refers to the act of publicly expressing objection, disapproval, or dissent toward an idea, policy, or situation, often related to political or social issues. People participate in protests to raise awareness, demand change, or show solidarity with a cause. Protests can take many forms, such as marches, rallies, sit-ins, or demonstrations, and are generally protected as a form of free speech in many countries. Organizing and participating in protests can be a powerful way to influence public opinion and policy.
