Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Delphi, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility and reliability, work as part of a team, and bring a caring, people-first approach with integrity to every interaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to site policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
  • Support facility operations by communicating clearly with site personnel and/or first responders during emergencies, evacuations, and other security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
