Dental 3D Printing TechnicianCompany Overview

Pan-Am Dental Laboratory is a full-service dental laboratory that partners with dental professionals to design and fabricate a wide range of dental restorations and appliances. With a focus on quality, consistency and clinical accuracy, Pan-Am Prides itself with Happy patients and happy business partners.  Headquartered in Savannah, GA, Pan-Am Has two additional locations in Houston, TX and Sandy, UT – allowing us to serve a base of clients covering the entire country.

Position Summary

The 3D Printing Technician plays a key role in supporting efficient production of digital models and restorations across multiple departments. This role involves preparing CAD files, coordinating multiple 3D printing workflows, and ensuring consistent, precise results. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, experienced with dental CAD/CAM software, and motivated to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and operate 3D printers to produce high-quality dental models and restorations across multiple workflows
  • Perform thorough quality control inspections on printed models to ensure they meet strict standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to 3D printing or model quality
  • Collaborate with dental technicians as needed to ensure the successful production of prosthetic and restorative cases
  • Maintain organized digital records and model files for ongoing case tracking and future reference
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience with 3D modeling, CAD design and 3D printing in the dental field
  • Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy, and restorative workflows
  • Strong attention to detail
