3D Systems Healthcare and the Seattle VA Medical Center are seeking a talented and seasoned Senior Dental Laboratory Technicians to create cutting-edge 3D printed dental prosthetics for our nation's heroes. This role requires exceptional knowledge of oral anatomy and dental materials, paired with advanced skills across all dental laboratory procedures. You'll participate in the digital design and fabrication of everything from dentures and surgical guides to custom trays and complete treatment plans. This role has a work schedule requiring the person to work onsite at the Seattle VA Medical Center 5 days a week.

What You Will Do
  • Design and produce a variety of dental prosthetics using CAD/CAM technology, including models, nightguards, dentures, crowns, bridges, and specialized appliances (sleep apnea devices, orthodontic devices)
  • Operate advanced digital dentistry equipment (scanners, 3D printers) and perform all technical fabrication processes including waxing, investing, curing, and precision finishing of dental prosthetics
  • Create high-quality dental restorations that meet precise esthetic, functional, and anatomic requirements while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Fabricate complete and partial dentures with high precision, including processing acrylic bases and crafting wrought wire components to match case specifications
  • Polish completed prosthetics to simulate natural tissue contours and achieve optimal aesthetics for patient satisfaction
  • Maintain equipment, manage laboratory supplies, and follow all VA protocols for HIPAA compliance and safety standards
  • Track case deadlines and maintain effective communication with dentists and dental team members via digital management systems (Teams) at the Seattle VA Medical Center (no remote/hybrid options available)
What You Will Bring

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate Degree preferred

Demonstrated Experience 

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in dental laboratory technology, dental prosthetics, or related technical dental roles (e.g., dental technician, ceramist, CAD/CAM specialist, prosthodontic technician)
  • Comprehensive hands-on experience in multiple technical procedures relevant to dental fabrication and restoration work
  • Proven track record working with CAD/CAM applications in dental or prosthetic settings, including experience with digital denture design, crown and bridge design, or similar restorative technologies
  • Demonstrated intermediate-level expertise handling complex dental prosthetic fabrication, restoration projects, or comparable technical dental work independently
  • Experience working in dental production, laboratory, or clinical fabrication environments with consistent delivery of quality dental appliances, restorations, or prosthetics to precise specifications

Preferred Certification

  • Certification in dental lab technology or a related biotechnology profession
