We are seeking a motivated and analytically driven Business Analytics Intern for an 8-week summer internship to support our customer GSO AGT Sales and Proposals team and the SGT-A35 New Units team. This internship offers hands on exposure to sales, bidding and business operations within a complex industrial environment. The intern will contribute to data-driven insights for sales and bid-related metrics, while also supporting improvement initiates focused on stakeholder alignment across business and operations planning.

What You will Do:

  • Analyze sales and bid-related data to support performance tracking, reporting and decision-making for the GSO AGT Sales and Proposal team.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards, metrics and summaries related to sales pipeline, bid outcomes and proposal performance.
  • Support the SGT-A35 New Units team in identifying improvement opportunities for cross functional stake holder alignment.
  • Analyze business and operations planning processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for improved coordination.
  • Prepare clear and concise presentations, reports and insights for business and operational stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings and support ad-hoc analytical and business improvement initiatives as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

·       Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business, Economics, Finance or a related business discipline.

·       Strong analytical skills with an interest in data analysis, performance metrics and business insights.

·       Proficiency in Excel., familiarity with Data Visualization tools (Eg: Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

·       Ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.

·       Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across sales, operation and business teams.

·       Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage tasks effectively within a short internship timeframe.        

Pay Range: ($12 to $16/hr). 

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Houston,TX

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. 
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
