What is a prophecy?

Prophecy jobs typically refer to roles related to religious or spiritual communities where individuals are recognized for interpreting, delivering, or teaching prophecies. These positions can include religious leaders, prophets, or spiritual advisors who claim to receive and communicate divine messages or predictions. The responsibilities often involve guiding followers, conducting teachings, and sometimes interpreting sacred texts. While prophecy is central to some faiths, it is important to note that these roles are usually not formal jobs in a traditional employment sense, but rather spiritual callings or positions within specific religious traditions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a prophet, and why are they important?

I'm sorry, but 'Prophet' is not recognized as a real-world professional occupation and does not align with standard employment roles.

What are some common challenges faced by data engineers working with Prophecy's low-code data pipeline platform?

Data engineers using Prophecy often encounter challenges such as adapting to a low-code environment if they are accustomed to traditional coding, ensuring seamless integration with existing data infrastructure, and managing collaboration between technical and non-technical team members. Additionally, staying updated with the platform's frequent updates and new features can require continuous learning. However, the platform's visual interface and automation capabilities typically help streamline workflow and improve productivity once these initial challenges are addressed.

Job description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer/Consultant to design and build end-to-end Power BI reporting solutions on top of the Prophecy (MDM/RDM) platform. This role is crucial for enabling hierarchical data visualization, operational dashboards, and scalable data architecture to support enterprise-wide analytics and AI readiness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports leveraging data from Prophecy MDM, ensuring clear hierarchical visualization (e.g., domain, classification, and entity relationships).
  • Build operational and executive dashboards to monitor data quality, governance, and business KPIs.
  • Architect and implement scalable semantic models and data pipelines integrating Prophecy with downstream reporting layers.
  • Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to deliver "golden copy" reporting datasets aligned with enterprise MDM strategy.
  • Support the expansion of classification data models and Matter 360 initiatives by translating complex data structures into actionable insights.
  • Ensure alignment with data governance, lineage, and cataloging standards (Alation, Atacama).
  • Optimize performance of reports and datasets for large-scale, unstructured, and evolving data environments.
  • Contribute to transitioning from project-based delivery to a program-based, scalable reporting framework.

Required Skills:
  • Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards, and performance tuning).
  • Hands-on experience with Prophecy (MDM/RDM) or similar MDM platforms.
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling (hierarchical/relational), and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience integrating with data quality (Atacama) and data cataloging tools (Alation) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and large-scale data processing.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric / Azure data ecosystem preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and master data management principles.
  • Ability to work in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment with distributed teams.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in AI/ML data readiness and analytics platforms.
  • Prior experience in enterprise data transformation or MDM programs.
  • Familiarity with consulting-led data transformation engagements.
