We are seeking a Procurement Specialist in our Brooklyn Park facility. This role is responsible for coordinating with fabrication vendors and internal production teams to ensure all fabricated items are completed and delivered on time to meet project and production schedule. This position focuses on vendor communication, schedule alignment, delivery tracking, and proactive issue resolution to support on-time execution.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has experience in managing supplier commitments, tracking fabrication progress, and working cross-functionally with production, planning and purchasing teams.

  • Coordinate with fabricators/suppliers to confirm production schedules, lead time and delivery commitments for fabricated items.
  • Work closely with the internal production team to understand required dates, priorities, and schedule changes.
  • Track all fabricated items from purchase/order release through completion and delivery.
  • Communicate schedule risks, delays, and recovery plans to production, planning, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and share status reports on fabrication progress, open orders, and delivery lead time.
  • Review quotations to ensure alignment with engineering drawing and specifications.
  • Create and issue accurate purchase orders and reflect contractual pricing, quantities, and lead time expectation. Ensure POs reflect correct pricing, quantities, lead time and terms.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within each
  • Performs special projects/duties as assigned by procurement manager.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain, ideally in a Manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Effective time management with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • High level of accountability and integrity
  • At least 3 days/week work in office
