Job description

Job Title: Part-Time Front Desk Agent (PM/AM Rotating)
On the River Inn is seeking a part-time Front Desk Agent to join our team. This position requires availability for PM shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM), with occasional AM shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and interact with guests in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner
  • Check guests in and out, ensuring:
    • Accurate billing and payment processing
    • Special requests are properly noted and fulfilled
    • Guest information is recorded correctly
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest emails
  • Make and confirm reservations
  • Answer and assist with incoming phone calls
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to handle financial transactions accurately
  • Comfortable using computers, including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management systems
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to stand and move throughout most of the shift
