JAG Interiors is a growing interior design firm specializing in affordable multi-family housing throughout California. We are passionate about creating thoughtful, functional, and beautiful spaces that positively impact communities and the people who call them home.


We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Bidding Lead to lead client development, proposal coordination, and sales efforts while helping drive the continued growth of our firm.


What You'll Do


As a key member of our leadership team, you will build relationships, identify new opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and help secure projects that align with our mission and expertise.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with affordable housing developers, non-profits, property management companies, housing authorities, and industry partners
  • Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, industry events, conferences and outreach efforts.
  • Manage the full proposal and bidding process, including fee proposals, scope reviews, and client follow up
  • Track opportunities and client communications within Houzz Pro CRM
  • Review architectural plans and perform project takeoffs to assess projects cope and budgeting requirements
  • Coordinate closely with design, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from awarded projects into production
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, client meetings, and networking functions as a representative of JAG Interiors
  • Support strategic growth initiatives and identify opportunities for long-term partnerships and repeat business
  • Assist with client presentations and project pursuit efforts alongside the design team
Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in interior design, business development, sales, project management, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of multi-family housing, interior design processes, and project budgeting
  • Experience with proposal development, bidding, estimating, or client relationship management
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design plans
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and comfortable representing the company at industry events and client meetings
  • Experience using CRM systems; Houzz Pro experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel preferred
