Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Assistant Underwriter Garage to join our growing team in Clinton, MS! The Assistant Underwriter will play a crucial role in supporting the department by reviewing insurance applications to evaluate, classify, and rate individuals and groups for insurance in support of the company's strategic objectives.

How You Will Contribute Review and process all policy changes as requested by agents and insureds. Assist Underwriters with renewal processing and follow up requests to the agents. Assist Underwriters with inspection review including follow-up with agents on hazards identified in the inspection. Monitor policies for recommendation compliance. Communicate with agents and insureds to assist with basic policy questions. Liaison between various departments. Participate in various projects as they arise.

Skills & Experience to Be Successful High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years as an assistant underwriter. (preferred) Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

Passion for learning new technologies and enhancing existing skills. Self-starter with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively. Ability to adapt and respond in a rapidly evolving business environment.
