Job description


Skye Management is a forward-thinking real estate management company dedicated to delivering exceptional tenant experiences and maximizing property value. We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our commercial and residential portfolio in Newark.
The Property Administrator will provide administrative and operational support to the property management team, ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate record-keeping, and timely coordination with tenants, vendors, and internal teams. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, proactive, and eager to grow within property management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the daily operations of assigned properties in coordination with the Property Manager.
  • Maintain accurate tenant records, lease documents, and property files.
  • Assist in tracking rent payments, following up on receivables, and coordinating with the finance team.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up with vendors to ensure completion.
  • Assist in scheduling property inspections and maintaining inspection reports.
  • Support leasing activities, including preparing documents and coordinating viewings.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and administrative documentation as needed.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.

Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in property management software such as AppFolio or similar, CRM systems, and office productivity tools, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of property management operations.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tasks.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3years of experience in administration, property management, or a similar role.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal); Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
