Job description

A Commercial Energy Consultant (AEC) conducts sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions. Establish, build, develop, and maintain business relationships with agriculture farms, poultry companies and growers. We are a Tri Gas & Oil family of companies representing the PepUp family of petroleum and propane products and allied services.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES;
  • Develop and execute strategic plan along with sales leadership to increase business volume and accounts per annual plan.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs as developed on annual basis: including but not limited to increase in active accounts, gallons growth, average margin, NPS Net Promoter Score, Review Buzz reviews, lead generation
  • Conduct outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing agriculture and poultry customers
  • Establish own leads via cold-calling and connectivity to community: DPI, Farm Bureau communities and allied AG providers to build relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Actively participate in AG business community events, meetings, seminars, trainings etc. to build and strengthen TG &O Brand and relationships.
  • Monitor new poultry house construction, market trends, identify target accounts.
  • Maintain timely and appropriate list of target accounts via Salesforce by generating and qualifying new business leads and follow up with current customers.
  • Prepare accurate proposals as appropriate.
  • Gain knowledge of equipment installation and service of supply for poultry/agricultural farms, as needed to become SME point of contact and voice of customer.
  • Remain current in equipment, means and methods, and energy consumption trends
  • Collect and research information to partner effectively with appropriate departments to identify and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Display professionalism in behaviors and attitudes in and out of the work environment.
  • Works closely with Operations, Service and Poultry Coordinator to provide world class customer experience to communities served.

SKILLS & EXPEREINCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous sales experience in the propane/petroleum with agricultural/poultry industry preferred
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Proven experience w/CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook
  • High Degree of responsiveness and initiative
  • Ability to travel throughout the Delmarva Peninsula
