Job Description

Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to be the main point of contact for propane tank maintenance; this includes delivering, setting, installing, and servicing propane tanks. This position will assist in transporting fuel and other general maintenance, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Install and set propane tanks as well as provide removal of tanks

  • Conduct field repairs of tank valves, seals, and lines

  • Analyze and troubleshoot for leaks and repair equipment

  • Deliver fuel as required

  • Understand and safely operate equipment and vehicle assigned

  • Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Maintain positive communication with the supervisor and customer, as needed

  • Properly complete necessary paperwork and records

  • Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of equipment, building, and grounds

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Class A CDL with acceptable driving history

  • HazMat endorsement or ability to obtain

  • Mechanical knowledge

  • Obtain required Propane Certifications

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented and ability to prioritize

  • Ability to work independently

  • Willing to work extended hours and possible weekends during peak seasons

  • Selected candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including satisfactory MVR

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk a mile, climb steps/ladders and lift up to 75lbs

  • Bending and climbing in and out of the truck
