Pizza Line Cook Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

The Restaurant Pizza Line plays an important part in delivering the Timber experience to our guests. The Restaurant Pizza Line ensures all pizzas are properly prepared prior to going into the oven. This is accomplished by working with care, speed, and attention to detail to ensure consistent adherence to Timber spec and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Arrives for shift on time and in proper work attire.
  • Completes Opening Checklist to ensure work area is properly stocked, organized, and clean for service.
  • Understands proper dough temperature, and rejects dough that does not meet Timber spec (e.g., over-proofed dough).
  • Stretches dough with strict adherence to proper size and Timber spec.
  • Reads incoming tickets, and prepares pizzas for oven by adding sauce and toppings per order and Timber spec.
  • Keeps work area stocked, organized, and clean throughout the shift.
  • Actively communicates with team members throughout the shift to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Actively assists team members when required.
  • Adheres to Timber food safety & sanitation standards throughout the shift.
  • Completes Closing Checklist to ensure work area is properly shut down at end of service.
  • May complete deep cleaning tasks, per schedule
  • May complete other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to pass the 10 year federal background check in the airport
  • Enjoys hospitality and serving others.
  • High energy and stamina. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and within a small working space.
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays.
  • Able to perform essential functions to company standards with reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location.
