This position is located within our dynamic outpatient office in Lakeland, Florida. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and meet patients’ individual goals and needs.
  • Manage a patient load of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring prompt yet thorough care for each individual.
  • Design personalized treatment plans, utilizing various methods, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, to aid in rehabilitation.
  • Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that improve patient motion, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with patients to motivate and guide them through treatment processes, helping them achieve optimal functionality.
  • Monitor patient progress meticulously, adapting care plans as necessary and ensuring clear communication of advancements to patients and the healthcare team.
  • Document all patient care services accurately, maintaining compliance with established protocols and standards.
  • Engage in interprofessional consultation to stay informed on best practices and contribute to comprehensive patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients requiring orthopedic care, including those rehabilitating from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions affecting mobility. By providing personalized therapeutic interventions, you will directly contribute to improving their strength, flexibility, and overall functional abilities.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • Must hold a valid Florida Physical Therapist License and have no disciplinary actions.
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) number is required, or candidates must be willing to obtain one prior to employment.
  • Proven proficiency in manual therapy skills and exercise-based rehabilitation.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a therapy team.
  • Familiarity with EMR software, preferably WebPT, is essential for efficient patient documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, providing insight into specific patient needs and treatment protocols.
  • Adeptness in using evidence-based practices to inform treatment decisions and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive salary, we offer:
