Position Overview

Well Spring Therapy Solutions is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote outpatient team. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced mental health counselor who thrives in a diverse environment and is committed to improving the lives of those in medically underserved communities in San Francisco, California.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to effectively provide care from the comfort of your own home while still being connected to our outpatient office in San Francisco. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and workplace diversity. Your work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical assessment and treatment for clients dealing with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, offering both individual and group therapy.

  • Engage actively as a team member, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals and maintain a focus on client-centered care.

  • Address the unique needs of clients from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating respect and understanding for various cultural traditions and interpersonal styles.

  • Develop and implement integrated care plans, ensuring that clients have access to comprehensive services and that all communications among clients, families, and providers are well coordinated.

  • Conduct evidence-based screenings and assessments, facilitating prompt interventions tailored to individual client needs.

  • Assist with crisis intervention, providing immediate support during challenging situations to ensure client safety.

  • Monitor and manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely therapeutic interventions and progress tracking according to established criteria for treatment.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees aimed at enhancing service delivery within our organization.

  • Maintain high standards in documentation, ensuring appropriate record-keeping and reporting of client data.

  • Fulfill on-call responsibilities as assigned, offering support during program hours and maintaining readiness to respond to client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on serving a highly diverse client population, including individuals experiencing homelessness, those facing financial hardships, and various cultural backgrounds. The LCSW will play a pivotal role in providing therapeutic support that fosters empowerment and connection, ensuring that clients feel valued and understood.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

  • Current LCSW licensure in the state of California is mandatory.

  • Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment practices specific to mental health, including risk assessments and crisis management.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective client interactions and team collaboration.

  • Demonstrated capacity for organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with company matching, paid time off, sick leave, life insurance, and profit-sharing options. In addition, we are currently offering a sign-on bonus to welcome qualified candidates to our team.
