Marketing and Events Promotion Assistants play a crucial role in promoting MTD events and ensuring effective communication to potential audiences. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can support our marketing and event promotion efforts in a multitude of ways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Film and edit short video interviews for MTD socials
- Create and hang up posters around campus, downtown, and other designated locations to promote events
- Send event listings to community notice boards, using a provided list for distribution
- Submit postings of upcoming events to Intercom
- Create event slides for monitors in Whalen, Dillingham, and other areas on campus
- Take photos and videos during events, edit for posting, conduct interviews with performers and attendees
Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic graphic design skills
- Experience shooting and editing photos and videos
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An ability and willingness to learn
Hiring rate $16.00 hr
