Job description


Marketing and Events Promotion Assistants play a crucial role in promoting MTD events and ensuring effective communication to potential audiences. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can support our marketing and event promotion efforts in a multitude of ways.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Film and edit short video interviews for MTD socials
  • Create and hang up posters around campus, downtown, and other designated locations to promote events

  • Send event listings to community notice boards, using a provided list for distribution

  • Submit postings of upcoming events to Intercom

  • Create event slides for monitors in Whalen, Dillingham, and other areas on campus

  • Take photos and videos during events, edit for posting, conduct interviews with performers and attendees

Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Basic graphic design skills

  • Experience shooting and editing photos and videos

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • An ability and willingness to learn

Hiring rate $16.00 hr
