Description

 LIVE SHOPPING LEAD (FLEXIBLE ENGAGEMENT)

Big Easy Blends, LLC

New Orleans, LA (on-site / hybrid) - remote considered for the right person

Engagement: Flexible - full-time, part-time, contract, or hourly. Open to all structures.

Compensation: Base or hourly rate plus commission on live shop sales

Reports to: VP of Marketing / Head of Sales

ABOUT BIG EASY BLENDS

Big Easy Blends is a New Orleans-based beverage manufacturer producing frozen and ready-to-drink pouch beverages across a portfolio of beloved licensed and proprietary brands - including ICEE, SLUSH PUPPiE, Welch's Smoothies, SpongeBob Smoothies, WITHOUT Mocktails, Mila's Soft Ice, Blendology, and Tampico. We sell across mass, club, dollar, grocery, K-12, and foodservice channels, and we're expanding into direct-to-consumer and social commerce. Live shopping is a core part of that next chapter.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a hands-on live shopping pro who knows the live commerce landscape cold and can build and run our live selling program. This is equal parts strategist and operator: you'll design the plan and be on camera, behind the scenes, and in the data. If you understand what makes a TikTok Shop LIVE convert, how to staff and script a multi-hour selling session, and how to turn a fun, on-brand stream into repeatable revenue, we want to talk to you.

This is a flexible engagement. Whether you're looking for a full-time role, a part-time gig alongside other work, an independent contract, or hourly host/operator work, we're open to structuring it around what fits - and every structure includes commission on the sales you drive through the live shop, so strong performers are rewarded directly for the revenue they generate.

Note: This role is on camera. Comfort hosting live, and/or a strong eye for directing hosts and creators, is essential.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Scope flexes with the engagement - a full-time lead may own all of the below, while a part-time or contract host focuses on the live sessions themselves. We'll right-size it together.

Own the live shopping strategy across relevant platforms (TikTok Shop LIVE, Amazon Live, Whatnot, Instagram/Facebook Live, YouTube, and emerging channels), matched to the right brands and audiences.

Build the end-to-end playbook: show formats, run-of-show scripting, promotional calendar, offer and bundle design, and post-stream follow-up.

Plan, produce, and host or co-host live sessions - including booking talent/creators, coordinating product, and managing the live set.

Recruit, brief, and manage a roster of creators, affiliates, and hosts; build an affiliate/commission program that scales.

Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, and operations to ensure inventory, fulfillment, and promo pricing are ready for each event.

Set up and manage the commerce backend: product catalogs, storefronts, promo codes, and platform compliance.

Define and report on KPIs - viewers, watch time, conversion rate, AOV, GMV, return rate, and customer acquisition cost - and iterate based on what the data shows.

Manage the live shopping budget and report ROI in board-ready terms.

Stay ahead of platform changes, trends, and competitor activity in social and live commerce.

WHAT YOU BRING

Comfort on camera and/or a strong eye for casting and directing hosts and creators.

Experience in social commerce, live shopping, influencer/affiliate marketing, e-commerce, or digital marketing, with demonstrable live selling results. (We're more interested in what you've sold on a live stream than years on a resume.)

Deep, current fluency with at least one major live shopping platform (TikTok Shop strongly preferred) and a working grasp of the broader ecosystem.

Track record of turning live content into measurable sales - you can speak to conversion rates, GMV, and AOV from work you've actually run.

Strong project management - you can run a content calendar, a production schedule, and a creator roster at the same time.

Analytical fluency: comfortable in platform dashboards and spreadsheets, and able to translate metrics into decisions.

Self-starter energy suited to a fast-moving manufacturer building this capability from the ground up.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience selling CPG, food & beverage, or licensed/character brands.

Existing relationships with creators, MCNs, or live shopping agencies.

Basic video production and editing skills.

Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or comparable commerce platforms.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) for broader audience reach.

LOGISTICS

New Orleans, LA preferred for on-site production and product coordination, but we'll consider remote or hybrid for the right person, especially for a contract or hourly arrangement.

Schedule is flexible and built around the live event calendar - expect some evening/weekend sessions.

Occasional travel may come up for shoots, events, or creator partnerships.

COMPENSATION

We're flexible on structure and want to find the arrangement that works for you:

Full-time or part-time: competitive base salary (scaled to scope and hours) plus commission on live shop sales.

Contract or hourly: an hourly or per-session rate plus commission on live shop sales.

Commission is paid on revenue generated through the live shop, so the more you sell, the more you earn - uncapped upside for strong performers.

 Benefits available for full-time engagement.

HOW TO APPLY

Tell us the engagement that fits you (full-time, part-time, contract, or hourly), send a resume, and - if you have one - links to live shopping sessions or campaigns you've run, with the results you drove.
