Job description

PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturing company. 
We are hiring a Machine Operator.
 
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Thursday | 6:00AM-4:30PM CST
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Overtime: Some Fridays and Saturdays required (approximately every other weekend)
 
Machine Operator Summary:
  • Operate high-speed automated assembly equipment.
  • Perform machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments.
  • Complete quality inspections and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and clear jams.
  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance.
  • Support production and quality goals.

Machine Operator Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate automated assembly machinery.
  • Make equipment adjustments and minor repairs.
  • Conduct quality checks and record measurements.
  • Replace tooling, sensors, and machine components.
  • Identify machine faults and restart production.
  • Package completed products and maintain workflow.
 
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years of machine operation or manufacturing experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to perform quality inspections and measurements.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work in a production environment.
