Job description

Greater Boston builders are hiring Project Engineers. This is the job where you learn how a project actually runs: the submittals, the RFIs, the money, and what the field does with the paper you send them. BELMONT Search is a construction executive search firm. We recruit at the operating level for general contractors and construction managers across Greater Boston. The job: - Submittals, RFIs and the document control the whole job depends on - Procurement logs and long lead tracking - Cost coding, and support on buyout and monthly billing - Site time with the superintendent every week - Owner and subcontractor meetings, in the room from the start Zero to three years in commercial construction. Co-ops, internships and a construction management or engineering degree all count, and so does having come off the tools. Base is $70,000 to $95,000. Every conversation is confidential. Call or text John at (305) 871-9821, or apply and he'll call you. If you are a year or two out and not sure what you should be asking for, that conversation is worth ten minutes on its own.
