What You'll Do

  • Once a job is assigned this role accepts full responsibility for management of the forecasting, submittal schedule, delivery schedule, and overall job health

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CMC

  • Review project proposal/plans/specifications to proactively identify risks, delays, or issues and communicate cost-effective solutions

  • Resolve daily issues that may arise effectively to ensure a timely, safe, and profitable project

  • Write and review RFIs for cost impact

  • Maintain project reports for management and customers

  • Interact daily with various departments to ensure contract obligations are met

  • Jobsite visits & meetings as needed


What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project management or construction related field

  • Rebar, concrete, and general contracting experience, highly preferred

  • Ability to read and understand contract documents and drawings

  • Solid understanding of project costs/cost control with strong financial and business acumen

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem solving, time managing, and prioritizing work skills

  • Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel


Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, preferred
