The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh invites applications for a full-time Marketing Project Manager within the Division of Marketing & Communications. In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, prioritization, and execution of marketing and communications projects that support the university's strategic goals, brand initiatives, and institutional storytelling efforts.

Working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, you will serve as a central operational partner across the division-helping ensure projects move efficiently from concept through completion while improving communication, workflow visibility, and cross-functional alignment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Project & Workflow Management

  • Manage the intake, prioritization, scheduling, and execution of marketing and communications projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, approvals, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Serve as the primary administrator and champion for project management platforms and workflow systems (e.g., Asana), helping standardize processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop andmaintainproject plans, production schedules, campaign calendars, status updates, and reporting systems.
  • Monitor project progress and proactivelyidentifyrisks, bottlenecks, competing priorities, or communication gaps.

Event & Campaign Coordination

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner closely with creative, digital, content, social media, web, video, photography, and leadership teams to coordinate integrated marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, timelines, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of project management systems and workflow platforms, with the ability to effectively manage projects, communication, task assignments, reporting, and operational coordination within Asana being critical to success in this role. Experience with platforms such as Monday.com, Trello, Basecamp, or similar systems is also valued.
