The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Support Lead to join our team!

We are seeking Project Support Leads with strong technical and programmatic expertise to support Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy acquisition programs. The successful candidate will combine a background in engineering with hands-on experience across multiple technical disciplines, providing critical support in the design, integration, testing, and evaluation of complex naval systems.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering.
Experience:

10 years of experience with DoD acquisition processes in one or more of the following areas:
ยงย  DoD/Navy program management.
ยงย  Industry or Government technical management.
ยงย  Industry or Government business management.

5 years of experience in two or more broad technical areas, including:
ยงย  Integration of complex multifunctional devices.
ยงย  Interface definition and verification.
ยงย  Component and system-level reliability, maintainability, and availability assessments.
ยงย  Shipboard impact analysis.
ยงย  Test case development and test program execution.
ยงย  Requirements allocation.
ยงย  Cost/benefit and life cycle cost analysis.
ยงย  Feasibility studies.
oย  ย  Experience in conceptual and detailed design for submarine or surface ship systems, including facilities and support systems for test and evaluation of structural configurations, machinery, and/or component designs in model and full scale.

Desired Qualifications
Experience:
oย  ย  Minimum of 10 years of experience with DoD acquisition processes in DoD/Navy program management, technical management, or business management.
Education: Masterโ€™s degree (M.S.) in Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Provide project support in the planning, coordination, and execution of Navy and DoD acquisition programs.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Contribute technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and/or materials engineering disciplines.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Lead or support design integration, verification, and system-level assessments for naval platforms.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Develop and execute test programs for submarine and surface ship systems at both model and full-scale levels.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Conduct trade studies, life cycle cost analyses, and feasibility assessments.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition processes and program standards.
ยทย  ย  ย  ย  ย Coordinate with government and industry stakeholders to support program objectives.
