Job description

Northern Clearing was founded in 1966 to provide right-of-way clearing services to utility companies. Over the years, Northern Clearing has evolved into a vertically integrated and highly versatile union contractor providing solution-based services including landscape clearing, vegetation management, timber and composite matting services, environmental control and access road construction.

Northern Clearing Inc., is currently seeking a Superintendent to join our team.

This position will require travel across the U.S.

Primary Focus:

  • Responsible for all operations, safety, procurement, scheduling, quality control, and production reporting status and progress on assigned projects.
  • Establishes and builds the work crew based on project needs and time parameters.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and client expectations.
  • Develop daily, weekly, monthly work plans.
  • Ensures all tools and equipment required to perform the work safely are available and maintained in a safe and working order.

Desired Skills:

  • 5+ years of related experience preferred
  • Clearing, Access, and Trimble experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work productively with others and foster solid client relationships
