Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction 
Location: Capital and Central NY Region
Salary: Starting at $100,000/year + Bonuses
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (No weekends) 

TES Staffing is proud to partner with a well-established commercial flooring contractor based in Rochester, NY, in their search for a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple high-visibility projects throughout the Capital and Central New York region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional who excels at managing complex job sites, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

This role is ideal for a Senior PM who thrives in the field, is deeply familiar with the commercial construction process, and is ready to take full ownership of high-profile, multi-phase projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent commercial flooring projects from inception to completion

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors, architects, subcontractors, and clients

  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance

  • Regularly visit job sites—including hospitals, offices, and other commercial environments—to monitor progress and proactively resolve challenges

  • Coordinate material procurement, labor scheduling, and site logistics

  • Manage project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and subcontractor performance

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to align project goals and ensure expectations are met

  • Drive accountability across job sites to maintain safety, efficiency, and professional standards

  • Participate in the sales process with customer outreach and networking


What We're Looking For:
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial construction project management (flooring-specific experience is a plus, not a requirement)

  • Proven track record of managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously

  • Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills

  • Experience working with or for general contractors is strongly preferred

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, blueprints, and project specifications

  • Skilled in managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment
