Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile and experienced Project Controls Manager with a strong background in project cost and scheduling to join our team. This role is pivotal in overseeing project planning, scheduling, cost management, and estimation processes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, analytical skills, and a proven track record in project controls management.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning, Scheduling, and Estimation:
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to lead development of comprehensive project plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Work with project managers to develop proposals for capital engineering projects. Provide reporting of project budgets and review with Project managers and Sr. Management to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Cost Management:
• Develop WBS Structure, detailed project budgets based on the estimation process and client objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines.
• Monitor project expenditures, analyze cost variances, and implement cost control measures to optimize project financial performance.
• Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for project stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and potential risks.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Define, develop, and implement robust performance measurement systems to track project progress, productivity, and quality using rules of credit and other industry standard procedures.
• Generate regular progress reports and performance dashboards, providing insights into project health and potential risks.
• Conduct comprehensive project reviews to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies for enhancing project efficiency and effectiveness.
Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project controls-related inquiries from clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Foster positive relationships with project stakeholders through clear and transparent communication, timely reporting, and proactive problem-solving.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a business-related field required.
