Job description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in civil construction to lead and manage projects from bid through completion. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with grading, drainage, base and paving, and underground utilities, and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, scheduling, and communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from civil plans and specifications
  • Understand project objectives and deliverables
  • Utilize HCSS HeavyBid or similar bidding software for estimating and project planning
  • Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Prepare and submit submittal packages
  • Procure materials and coordinate deliveries
  • Develop and manage project schedules including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Monitor and control critical path activities to ensure timely project completion
  • Manage scope of work, identify and process change orders
  • Maintain regular communication with owners, engineers, and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
