The majority of our products are produced almost entirely from recycled resins. Infiltrator's recycling operation is among the country's top twenty producers / consumers of recycled resins and among only a few of whom consume 100% of that resin in the finished products produced. Infiltrator operates some of largest molding machines and robotics producing the largest plastic molded parts in the world. POSITION OVERVIEW:

In this night shift role, the lead supervisor with daily responsibilities including supervision of other molding shift supervisors.  This includes coordinating daily activities, ensuring that the staff follow company policies, and facilitating communication between team members and upper management.  In this role, the candidate's responsibility is to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping. 

The candidate will assist the Operations Manager with the day-to-day management duties as required on night shift.  This position also has campus wide supervision responsibilities on night shift.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct supervision of all molding supervisors, operators, technicians, and utility personnel (7-7 on a 2/2/3 schedule-night shift)
  • Leads other molding supervisors on the shift days assigned.
  • Campus wide supervision responsibility on night shift.
  • Responsible for safety in the operation. Must foster a culture of safety. Participates and/or leads plant safety teams. Maintains a safe work environment and ensures safety complies with PPE requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring that production meets all quality standards and that production schedule is met.
  • Ensure material recipes meet specifications and cost targets. Ensure that the Materials Blend Sheet is kept up to date.
  • Overseeing daily operations to ensure work processes meet organizational standards and regulations.
  • Allocating tasks based on team members' skills and workload for efficient completion.
  • Providing training and mentorship to new and existing staff, focusing on skill development and professional growth.
  • Monitoring team performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Must foster a culture of accountability by effective conflict resolution.
  • Preparing reports on team performance, project progress, and operational challenges for upper management
  • Implementing process improvements to optimize workflow, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Responsible for holding team accountable to IWT standard work procedures and standards of conduct.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Must foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading operational improvement initiatives.
  • Support sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS (must have):

  • Bachelor's degree is required with MBA desirable. Equivalent combination of education and manufacturing leadership experience may be considered.
  • 10~15 years of manufacturing experience. Practical experience in team management, project coordination, and operational oversight is highly valued.
  • Experience in plastics manufacturing and injection molding is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience leading Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement activities.
