Job description

We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Stamford, CT. The Project Engineer supports a wide range of project responsibilities. You will help keep the team organized, informed, and aligned while contributing to project goals related to budget, schedule, safety, quality, diversity, and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Support the project team in organizing and maintaining the budget, safety expectations, diversity standards, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain client and architect/engineer relationships throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.
  • Assist the project team in resolving project issues with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Support operations reporting as requested.
  • Support the MEP coordination drawing process.
  • Initiate, log, procure, review, and process submittals.
  • Create, analyze, and manage the RFI process.
  • Participate in project meetings, including taking and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Assist with site logistics and the construction management plan.
  • Support the Superintendent with project documentation and daily reports as needed.
  • Post and maintain drawings and specifications through the contract document control process.
  • Verify subcontractor as-built drawings and documents on a monthly basis.
  • Develop and lead the material management program, including deliveries aligned with the schedule and compliant with approved submittals.
  • Assist with documenting workforce production rates by trade and identifying issues that may impact the schedule.
  • Obtain and record subcontractor safety compliance documents while supporting the Site Safety Manager with coordination and compliance.
  • Develop and lead the closeout matrix and closeout process.
  • Support the development and execution of the quality management program.
