Job Description

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on-site activities to ensure that work is executed in accordance with contractual requirements, project timelines, budgets, and QHSE standards. Acting as the technical and managerial lead on site, this role coordinates internal teams and subcontractors, ensures compliance with risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), and drives continuous improvement in operational performance.ย  This position will work remotely and candidate may be located in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania/Virginia or Tampa, FL areas.

Qualifications

Guidance & Personnel Management:

  • Provide clear leadership to on-site teams by communicating work schedules, safety protocols, and project requirements.
  • Supervise both internal personnel and subcontractors to ensure work is performed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Monitor and review performance, and escalate issues when necessary to maintain high quality standards.

Operational & Service Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the Account Manager to develop and implement work plans and schedules.
  • Monitor project progress, manage change requests, and follow up on deviations and claims.
  • Ensure that on-site activities conform to contractual and budgetary requirements.
  • Provide hands-on assistance as a fitter or welder when necessary to support critical on-site operations.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues by performing mechanical or welding tasks as required.

Compliance & Collaboration:

  • Ensure strict adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, internal policies, and external regulations.
  • Review and ensure that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are up-to-date and followed.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders (e.g., Account Managers, HSE, Site Support teams) and external parties (e.g., clients, subcontractors).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of project timelines and adherence to budgets.
  • High compliance with QHSE standards and reduced safety incidents.
  • Effective resolution of on-site technical and operational issues.
  • Positive feedback from clients and internal stakeholders regarding site performance.

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Technical diploma in Mechanical or Maintenance.
  • 5+ years' experience in site supervision or field service within a large industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in contractor coordination and QHSE management.
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard project management tools.
  • Fluent in the local language and English, another language is a plus.
  • Experience in maintenance/assembly in international mechanical or plant engineering, preferably waste -to-energy plants
  • Experience in pipeline construction
  • Experience in boiler construction
  • Implementation of pipeline construction on the basis of pipeline planning in 3D programs and pipe isometric
  • Knowledge of at least 2 welding processes
  • Good product knowledge
