Job Summary:
Skywalk Global is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple projects and ensure successful management towards business objectives. The role involves collaborating with senior management and stakeholders, developing project plans, and mentoring intermediate project managers.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
• Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
• Define users and project team members’ roles and responsibilities on the project.
• Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to intermediate level project managers including recommending training and experience.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience in IT Project Management and IT digital transformation.
• Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects desired.
• Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation.
• Experience with multiple methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
• Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of the SDLC to program/business/stakeholders who may have little to no exposure working on or with large software projects/teams.
• Strong knowledge in leading modernizing Oracle, PL/SQL, data warehouses using BigQuery, Dataflow, and DataStream.
• Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required.
• Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables.
• Lead end-to-end migration of our on-premises Oracle Data Warehouse to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in complex IT project or portfolio coordination involving multiple stakeholders across multiple business areas and geographies Required 10 Years
• Experience with Cloud migration, Google, Data Warehouse, Migration experience Required
• Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects Required 10 Years
• Ability to support Sr. project team staff to drive projects to success Required 10 Years
• Strong organization, communication and presentation skills Required
• Experience in organizing highly complex and technical information. Required 10 Years
• Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects Required
• Knowledge of multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall Required
