BayView Industries of Green Bay Inc. in Green Bay, WI is currently hiring for a Facilities Project Manager. If you have a background with facility management or have worked through the project management process, we may have the position for you!


Position Summary:

The Facilities Project Manager leads plant and warehouse renovations, relocations, startups, and other special projects. This position partners closely with division managers to coordinate facility services that support safe, organized, and efficient operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Coordination & Management

Serve as liaison between contractors, vendors, and management throughout facility improvements, relocations, and startups.

Develop scopes of work and review contractor/vendor bids and proposals.

Outline project tasks and assist managers in delegating responsibilities to team members.

Manage project timelines, schedules, and milestone tracking.


Vendor & Contract Management

Contact and evaluate vendors, request and review service quotes for new maintenance providers.

Maintain communication with contractors and service partners to resolve issues.

Review contracts and facilitate routing for signature.

Request and maintain vendor insurance documentation.


Compliance & Facility Standards

Research local regulations and ordinances to ensure code compliance.

Identify, secure, and maintain required operational permits.

Perform regular facility inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.


Administrative & Financial Duties

Process lease payments using leasing software and track property-related costs and expenses.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with location managers across divisions.

Complete additional duties as assigned by management.


Travel

Overnight travel to division locations: 10-20%.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working on commercial or industrial facilities projects required with manufacturing preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field is required.
  • Project Management certification preferred or ability to obtain within first year of employment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet goals.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Understanding of building/planning principles.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and how to interpret regulations.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including tools used for project management.
  • Experience with real estate property management/development.
