Job description

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overall project management of complex initiatives from the preliminary planning stage through the design, construction, equipment installation, and close out phase.
The Office of Program and Project Management oversees construction, renovation, and major modernization projects.

We are currently filling 4 vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Qualifications:

If you have volunteered your service through a National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, Americorps), we encourage you to apply and include this experience on your resume.
The GS-13 salary range starts at $106,437 per year.ย  ย 
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized experience:ย experience that demonstrates the ability to perform project management on large and highly complex commercial construction and/or large and complex commercial building repair and alteration projects. This experience must include: budget and resource forecasting; application of procurement practices and techniques; leading others as a senior member of a project team; conducting contract negotiations with high level business, industry and/or Government officials; as well as contract administration and closeout.
