The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful implementation of our cutting-edge inventory management and manufacturing software for new customers. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard of quality. This role is critical to driving customer satisfaction and adoption of our software solutions.
The Project Manager will define project scope, manage timelines and deliverables, and coordinate efforts across stakeholders, including the Implementation Specialist and Data Migration Specialist. This individual will act as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the implementation journey, fostering collaboration and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from the point of sale through full implementation and onboarding.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, tailored to customer needs.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Collaboration & Coordination
  • Manage and align the workstreams of Implementation Specialists and Data Migration Specialists to meet project objectives.
  • Facilitate regular communication between internal teams and customer stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Coordinate data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the implementation process.
  • Work closely with Implementation Specialists to align training and software setup with the customer's business needs.

Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and successful adoption of the software.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, proactively addressing customer concerns and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Manage expectations and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and challenges.

Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting notes, project plans, and status reports.
  • Provide regular updates to internal leadership on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation processes and tools by sharing feedback and insights.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in software implementation or SaaS environments.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, or similar).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with inventory management or manufacturing software is a plus.

Certifications
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
