About Onboard
Onboard by Conservice is a tech-enabled bulk internet management service for multifamily and single-family rental property owners. We manage the full internet program lifecycle, from ISP contracting through resident enrollment, property management system (PMS) integration, and post-launch handoff, enabling properties to deliver premium connectivity amenities while we handle the operational complexity.

The Role
In this role, you will serve as the technical authority and project lead for bulk internet deployments, including new property construction, managed Wi-Fi network builds, low-voltage
rewires, and major ISP infrastructure upgrades.Partnering with non-technical Implementation Managers, you will work with property owners,ISP engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders. You will manage hardware schedules, audit network readiness, enforce vendor accountability, and ensure smooth technical launches.

Core Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Technical Project Ownership: Direct the technical delivery lifecycle for multiple, concurrent MDU and SFR properties from pre-deployment site survey through turn-up and operational handoff.
  • ISP Partner Management: Be primary technical lead for ISP project managers, network engineers, and low-voltage contractors. Hold vendors accountable to construction
    schedules, wiring specifications, and SOW deliverables.
  • Infrastructure & Network Verification: Oversee site surveys, MDF/IDF closet readiness, fiber/coax drop placements, access point (AP) layouts, and hardware provisioning (switches, modems, routers) to ensure compliance with Onboard standards before resident onboarding begins.
  • Pre-Sale Deal Desk Collaboration: Partner with Solutions Consulting and Deal Desk during pre-sale technical reviews. Evaluate site feasibility, vendor Scopes of Work (SOWs) to prevent technical scope creep or unrealistic delivery commitments.
  • Proactive Risk & Milestone Tracking: Maintain rigorous project records and risk logs within Salesforce CRM. Anticipate technical bottlenecks (such as permit delays, supply chain shortages, or asbestos/structural constraints) and execute mitigation strategies before go-live dates slip.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead the technical track on dual-assigned projects while guiding non-technical team members and property owners through complex network concepts.
  • Process Standardization: Create technical playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to increase cross-functional team and departmental knowledge.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • On-Time Technical Go-Live Rate: Percentage of technical implementations reaching successful network turn-up on or before the committed initial launch date.
  • Survey-to-Build Timeline Reliability: Compressing the window between initial technical survey completion and physical hardware installation.
  • Data Integrity & Risk Logging: 100% compliance in logging technical milestones, site survey results, and vendor risks within Salesforce CRM.
  • Post-Launch Technical Discrepancies: Minimizing post-go-live hardware or network configuration tickets during the 60-day post-launch audit cycle.

Ideal Qualifications

  • 4+ years of network deployment, field engineering, or technical project management experience in MDU Telecommunications, Low-Voltage Construction, or MDU Managed Wi-Fi.
  • Hands-on understanding of MDU telecom infrastructure, including Managed Wi-Fi architectures, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) setups, Fiber-to-the-Unit (FTTU), MDF/IDF closet design, access point placement, coax/fiber cabling, and splicing.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret low-voltage architectural drawings, network schematics, site survey reports, and vendor Scopes of Work (SOWs) during pre-sale evaluations.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Salesforce CRM (managing project pipelines, records, and risk logs) and data auditing using spreadsheets (Excel/CSV).
  • Ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, direct, and actionable outcomes for property owners, asset managers, and non-technical internal stakeholders.
  • Methodical, authoritative, proactive problem solver, calm under pressure, and highly resilient.


Travel: Infrequent domestic travel (5-10%) required for critical site audits, complex kickoff
