About Us

A1 Restoration of Phoenix is a restoration and mitigation company specializing in water, fire, and related property losses for residential and commercial clients in the Phoenix market. We work closely with insurance carriers, adjusters, contractors, and referral partners to deliver fast, professional, and well-documented restoration services.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to run active restoration projects, manage timelines and budgets, and drive jobs from initial loss through completion and payment.

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for managing restoration and mitigation projects from start to finish, including scope development, estimating, scheduling, documentation, customer communication, and job profitability. This role requires strong Xactimate proficiency, insurance claim experience, and the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.

This is a hands-on project management role focused on execution, timeline control, insurance coordination, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

Manage restoration and mitigation projects from initial loss through completion

Develop accurate scopes of work and Xactimate estimates

Control project timelines, schedules, and production flow

Oversee subcontractors, technicians, and vendors as needed

Monitor job progress to ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability

Estimating, Insurance & Documentation

Write and manage Xactimate estimates, revisions, and supplements

Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding scope, pricing, and approvals

Maintain clean, complete, and defensible job files

Ensure documentation and photo standards meet insurance requirements

Drive jobs through approval, invoicing, and payment

Client & Partner Communication

Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, adjusters, and referral partners

Set clear expectations regarding scope, timelines, and processes

Resolve issues and manage change orders as needed

Financial & Performance Control

Track job costs, margins, and production efficiency

Monitor material usage, labor, and subcontractor performance

Ensure projects meet company profitability targets

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Restoration or Mitigation Project Manager

Strong proficiency in Xactimate (required)

Experience managing insurance claims and adjuster communication

Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

Physical & Work Requirements

Ability to perform job site visits and inspections
