IDEALFORCE have a Contract position available immediately for a Data Governance Manager/SR to join our customer inPhoenix,  Arizona.. This is an ONSITE position. Job Description

-Ensures the collection, handling and usage of data at our Cleint's are aligned with all applicable statutes, policies, regulations and industry best practices; Assists in directing policy for data retention, access, quality and audits at our Cleints' ;Maintains policies and procedures to support current and future data information needs 
-Leads the Common Educational Data Standards (CEDS) implementation effort at our Cleint's 
-Sets policy for and oversees fulfillment of external data requests; Oversees Data Governance training effort at our Cleint's ; Works with our Cleint's business units to document the master data calendar 
-Assists with Program Budgets, Reporting and Strategic Planning; Manages the Office of Data Governance external facing website; and other duties as assigned 

Qualifications


-Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of experience as a lead or senior business analyst on information management projects, such as data governance, data warehousing, business intelligence, meta data management, master data management 
-Experience with budgeting, forecasting and issue and risk management 
-Demonstrated experience with strategic planning and reporting 
-Experience interacting with diverse stakeholders 
-The ability to work with data governance oversight board and data stewards to create and monitor policies and procedures 
-Experience in Education domain preferred 
-Strong relationship building and influencing skills that maintain effective partnerships across functional groups 
-Previous experience working in medium to large organizations with enterprise systems, enterprise information repositories, and enterprise databases with possible several lines of business 
-Thorough working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio 
-Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills 
-Very strong attention to detail
