TMD Staffing is interviewing for a PROJECT MANAGER for a well known signage group in San Antonio, TX.  The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing assigned customer projects from start to finish. This role ensures all tasks are executed accurately, on schedule and within margin expectations. The Project Manager serves as the central coordinator between clients, internal departments and vendors to deliver successful outcomes while maintaining compliance and profitability,  This is a direct hire opportunity and is resume and interview based.

Essential Job DutiesProject Planning & Setup

  • Coordinate site surveys and verify compliance with applicable municipal codes and regulations.
  • Manage permitting processes, landlord approvals, and all required compliance documentation.
  • Scope projects for design and estimating purposes and prepare quote proposals for customers.
  • Review project quotes, profit margins, and scope of work for accuracy prior to project launch.
  • Develop project schedules and timelines that align with customer requirements and expectations.

Design & Approvals

  • Submit design requests and coordinate revisions with the Design team.
  • Manage client and landlord approval processes for final project designs.
  • Ensure approved designs are accurately documented before releasing projects to production.

Production & Execution

  • Release projects to production once all approvals and compliance requirements have been obtained.
  • Schedule and coordinate installations, including the management of subcontractors.
  • Monitor project milestones, schedules, and deliverables, proactively addressing delays and risks.
  • Ensure installations meet quality standards, code requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Manage changes in project scope and resolve unforeseen execution issues while protecting project profitability and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Financial Oversight

  • Review project target P&Ls and monitor margins to achieve profitability goals.
  • Issue purchase orders (POs) for installers and material procurement.
  • Track project costs and ensure billing accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Submit final project documentation to Accounts Receivable to ensure timely invoicing.

Client & Internal Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout project execution.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients and internal leadership.
  • Facilitate communication between the Estimating, Design, and Production teams.
  • Escalate and resolve project issues in collaboration with cross-functional departments.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting
