Job description

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking an exceptional Construction Observation & Testing (COT) Project Manager to join our dynamic team in York, PA.

As a COT PM, you'll take charge of supervising Construction Field Technicians in the field, conducting crucial observations and testing related to Special Inspections during site work and building construction. Your role will involve compiling comprehensive reports and overseeing field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and structural steel. Collaborating closely with technical experts, you'll coordinate personnel and equipment while liaising with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and management entities to address challenges swiftly and ensure project requirements are meticulously fulfilled. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Construction Observation & Testing (COT) experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field is a plus
  • WACEL, NICET, ICC, or ACI certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as internet-based tools
  • Ability to effectively coordinate projects and work closely with clients, subcontractors, and management entities
  • Good driving record, valid driver's license, and access to a personal vehicle
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
