Job description

As Application Engineer, the engineer will work on a team with our customers in Europe (Italy) to identify, implement and deliver V93000 based test solutions to address their specific test requirements.
This includes following major responsibilities:

  • Integration of V93000 Semiconductor Test systems and services into customer's environment.
  • Ensure the product functions per specifications.
  • Development, debug and optimization of V93000 based test solutions with focus on Power, Analog and Automotive applications.
  • Development of required test HW such as load boards and probe cards with focus on Digital, Power, Analog and Automotive applications.
  • Manage the transfer from design into high volume manufacturing of their semiconductor products.
  • Consult customer test engineers during development and debug of V93000 based test solutions.
  • Delivery of customer training or workshop.
  • Experienced with power test fundamentals such as high current, high voltage, Stress test, Kelvin concept.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience on Test program quality related parameter like Endurance test, Burn-in, GR&R, CP, CPK, spike check.
  • University Degree in Electronic Engineering.
  • 2-3 years' relevant experience in semiconductor test business.
  • Proven experience in Digital, Power, Analog and Automotive test development and debug using ATE platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience with common programming language (C, C++, scripting), Java knowledge is also welcome.
  • Good communication and presentation skills for internal as well as for customer-facing activities.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability and motivation to work in project teams in a global environment.
  • Ability to work with good level of autonomy and to work under pressure.
  • Availability to Travel for business requirement.
  • Driver license and willing to travel.
  • Fluent English (mandatory) and Italian (preferred) language skills.
