The Project Manager (PM) owns the scope, schedule and budget for the material handling project(s) assigned. This includes coordination and correspondence with the internal project team, as well as vendors, subcontractors, and the customer. As the customer requires an on-site Project Management presence for the duration of installation from First Access to project completion on all of their projects, this is the expectation.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage projects up to $40M budget

  • The ability to work with other departments and subcontractors in an effective and productive manner

  • The ability to effectively communicate with the customer

  • The ability to schedule and maintain engineering activities for projects

  • The ability to develop solutions to installation and other mechanical issues

  • The ability to communicate and collaborate with others and other departments

  • The ability to analyze progress and determine issues in the schedule in a timely manner

  • The ability to recruit and evaluate talent to grow the department

  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities

  • Makes tactical decisions and ensure their execution

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)

  • 50% time on project site

  • Additional duties as assigned by the Program Executive


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business or Construction Management, or related experience strongly preferred

  • 5+ years' experience in the material handling industry or site project management related

  • Experience managing a department or focused work team

  • Experience with detailed scheduling

  • Experience working with customers in planning and troubleshooting issues

  • Experience in coordinating department activities with other departments

  • Experience managing a budget up to $40m

The base salary range for this role is $ 87,600 to $ 131,300. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. The actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
