This is an opportunity to manage complex, specialized manufacturing projects while serving as a key connection among customers, operational teams, suppliers, contractors, and other project stakeholders. The successful candidate will play an important role in guiding projects through planning, manufacturing, quality review, and completion.


Position Summary

Armag Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of mission-critical military and defense-related manufacturing projects. This highly visible position serves as the primary customer-facing representative and is responsible for keeping projects aligned with established scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, solutions-focused professional who can coordinate complex projects across Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and oversee programs and projects from initiation through successful execution.
  • Maintain accountability for project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and overall performance.
  • Assist the Sales Team with defining project scope and objectives and developing proposals and estimates.
  • Plan and coordinate project resources, review budgets, monitor progress, and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to coordinate the manufacture of complex and customized projects.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Manage third-party consulting firms, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop expertise in applicable products, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Resolve conflicts, develop solutions, and address project challenges while balancing the interests of Armag Corporation, its customers, and successful project outcomes.
  • Travel as required, potentially up to 25%.


Required Qualifications

  • Three to five years of relevant project management and/or engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with project management software, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while addressing multiple project priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, customer service, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Experience in specialized manufacturing project management or construction management.
  • Project Management Professional, or PMP, certification.
