Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results driven Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, team leadership, manufacturing processes, and technology. This role is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting the highest quality standards. The primary immediate focus of this position will be overseeing the successful implementation and execution of the Advaris and SAP systems within the organization.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Management:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables. Ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Utilize project management software (i.e. Monday.com) and tools to track project progress, milestones, and deadlines.
  1. Resource Allocation:
  • Partner with department leaders to identify and allocate necessary resources (personnel, equipment, materials) to ensure project success.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers as needed.
  1. Execution and Monitoring:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to project plans.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with team members and stakeholders including executives, department heads and external vendors.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Resolve conflicts and address concerns raised by stakeholders. Engage Human Resources Manager, if needed.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all projects comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Track and report project costs, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports, including status updates, financial performance, and risk assessments, to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation for future reference and compliance audits.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% at peak project implementation. Typical travel expected to be 20-30%.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
  • Proven experience managing ERP projects and
