Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales / Project Manager to join our team! This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing residential projects from initial customer consultation through final installation. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of screen enclosure construction, strong sales skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Seek out and follow up on new lead opportunities
  • Meet with prospective customers to conduct site visits and sales consultations.
  • Prepare accurate project estimates and proposals.
  • Design and draft custom screen enclosure layouts and plans.
  • Maintain communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Order and coordinate delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Schedule and oversee multiple construction crews to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and job site safety.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and inspectors as needed.
  • Ensure all projects comply with Florida building codes and permitting requirements.
  • Resolve customer concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and records.
  • Work within a team on workflow management, and operational improvements.
  • Various other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in screen enclosure construction or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, estimating, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of aluminum screen enclosure materials, suppliers, and installation methods.
  • Thorough understanding of Florida building codes and construction practices.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create construction drawings and project layouts.
  • Experience scheduling and managing multiple construction crews simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Competency with office software such as email, QuickBooks, Google Docs etc.
  • Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record required.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies while managing multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of permitting process is beneficial, but not required.
