Job description

Position Summary

The Superintendent leads all field operations for the Data Center construction project located in Dallas, TX, and serves as the primary onsite leader responsible for safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. This position partners closely with Project Leadership to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with DELCO quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all jobsite operations and field personnel.
  • Develop, maintain, and drive the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.
  • Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and monitor performance daily.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Identify risks, conflicts, and schedule impacts and implement solutions proactively.
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for owners, consultants, inspectors, and project stakeholders as needed.
  • Oversee daily reports, project documentation, photographs, and closeout deliverables.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Assistant Superintendents and field personnel.
  • Support project mobilization, site logistics planning, and coordination activities.
  • Engage in minimal, infrequent physical assistance when essential for safety or operational continuity; such tasks are not a primary function of this role.
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • 10+ years of superintendent experience with demonstrated success leading commercial, industrial, or missioncritical construction projects preferred.
  • Data center construction experience is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret complex plans, specifications, and submittals.
  • Strong leadership and decisionmaking skills.
  • Expertise in scheduling, lookahead planning, sequencing, and trade coordination.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and project execution.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading largescale groundup commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is preferred.
  • Advanced safety certifications including OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR are preferred.
