About the Role:
The Service Delivery Project Manager manages the operational planning and execution of multifaceted projects typically consisting of a set of closely related projects or associated activities. Oversees operational and administrative management of projects; serves as principal point of representation and liaison with internal and external parties for projects managed and provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership. Requires leadership, project management, reporting and analysis across all internal functional areas of Uniti Fiber as well as to external vendors and customers.
Project types include, but are not limited to, wireless and fiber backhaul network infrastructure deployment, overlay network implementation, network quality improvements and customer circuit implementation and integration.
What You'll Do:
  • Manages and oversees the administrative and daily operations of project, ensuring compliance with customer, jurisdiction, Uniti Fiber standards, policies and regulations.
  • Serves as primary project management point of contact to one or more customers/accounts and conducts regular meetings with executive level customer contacts.
  • Designs and develops or assists with design and development of projects.
  • Track project budget; monitors budget expenditures.
  • Develops a project and site-specific baseline schedule and tracker and maintains an up to date forecast with actual completions for each of the above project types.
  • Conducts regular cross functional meetings in order to expedite site and project completion
  • Provides technical and/or professional coordination and leadership in the execution of day-today project activities.
  • Develops and implements systems and processes to expedite project completion and to maintain records for the project.
  • Oversees and/or coordinates the collection, compilation, and analysis of project activity data; develops, writes, and presents comprehensive statistical, status and summary reports.
  • Assists in developing training materials.
  • Assists in establishing and implementing short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Collaborates with Uniti Fiber departments and projects to consolidate resources and expedite projects in a cost-effective manner.
  • Develops or assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of Uniti Fiber to ensure efficient operation of the project.

Do You Have:
  • Minimum 5 years in project, program management experience.
  • At least 5 years of work experience that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed on the job description.
  • BA/BS degree required or comparable experience.
  • Project planning and implementation skills.
  • Knowledge of management principles and practices.
  • Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
