Operations Automation Manager
Location: East Peoria, IL (LL,SS)
Job Type: Full-Time

As an Operations Automation Manager in East Peoria, IL, you will help design, develop, implement, and troubleshoot robotic industrial operations systems that improve performance, reliability, and scalability across manufacturing operations. You'll translate end-user requirements into practical automation solutions and share expertise across the organization to accelerate automation adoption and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Debug and troubleshoot robotic systems, automating key aspects of robotics processes to ensure effective and reliable operation.
  • Fix, enhance, and optimize automation application features and systems to support business requirements and operational goals.
  • Gather, analyze, and document end-user requirements to define intended system functionality and performance expectations.
  • Transfer knowledge and expertise of industrial automation solutions across the organization through coaching, documentation, and collaboration.
  • Apply structured problem-solving and process management approaches to reduce downtime, remove bottlenecks, and improve throughput.
  • Coordinate with external partners and suppliers to support delivery quality, timelines, and ongoing solution performance (vendor interaction as applicable).

  • Industrial Automation / Automatic Control: Working knowledge supporting design/implementation/maintenance of automated production systems and control processes.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to organize problem-resolution efforts, evaluate alternatives, and deliver successful solutions for critical issues.
  • Planning & Organizing: Ability to prioritize conflicting work, track execution, and manage changes to deliver outcomes.

  • Process Management: Working knowledge using process flows/workflow diagrams and identifying bottlenecks and decision impacts.

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
