ICMS is looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager (Facilities Onsite Supervisor) who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the contract in their respective sectors. The Assistant Project Manager specializes in delivering high quality work products while maintaining constant communication, focus and excellent customer service.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communication with the Government during normal duty hours and after hours for emergencies.
  • Attend weekly coordination meetings at Government facility.
  • Ensure safety compliance for all facility work performed by staff, vendors, and contractors
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate facility operations, maintenance, custodial, and support services
  • Oversee the scheduling, execution, and quality control of work performed by personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Manage procurement activities, including vendor bids, proposals, and service contracts
  • Promote a positive work environment and reinforce a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration
  • Coordinate and monitor the preventive maintenance program for all critical assets and equipment, ensuring compliance with contract requirements
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate operational risks associated with daily activities
  • Serve as an alternate point of contact for the Government and corporate management team
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records of all critical assets
  • Support Project Manager and Supervisors in scheduling and workforce management
  • Enforce professional conduct and safety regulations while escalating personnel issues to HR and management as required
  • Develop and implement assessment plans, conduct audits and inspections in support of the Quality Control Plan
  • Assist in hiring processes in compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Manage general custodial responsibilities, including scheduling and supervising custodial duties
  • Be responsible for tracking, documentation and disposal of hazardous waste produced while performing preventive maintenance, identifying when new or revised permits are needed and managing the Certifications and Permits program as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 5 years of recent (within the past 7 years) experience in operation and maintenance of equipment in a supervisory capacity for Siemens BAS systems, NCMMS, boilers, energy recovery equipment and chillers over 600 tons.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of technical experience in each of the following: as a technician in HVAC and Mechanical Systems and in quality control inspections of building systems and equipment.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a manager of service technicians.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing environmental control duties on contracts of similar size and scope.
  • Ability to interpret and execute verbal and written instructions accurately
  • Willingness and availability to support on-call and emergency events
  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass a federal background investigation
  • Proficiency in computer use and applications relevant to facilities management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • College degree is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience in facilities operations and maintenance (O&M), preferably in a campus or multi-building setting.
  • Experience managing operations and maintenance of a federal facility or contract.
  • Experience and familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platforms, preferably Maximo


Licenses and Certifications:

  • A valid stateโ€™s driver's license (with no major infractions) is required
  • FMP, CFM or other certifications from recognized industry organizations (BOMA, IFMA, etc.) preferred
  • OSHA 30 Training preferred but not required
  • Professional Licenses in occupational trade preferred but not required
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Refrigeration Technician preferred but not required.

Additional Qualifying Factors:

ยท As a condition of employment, it will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.


Security Clearance:

It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. Minimum investigation at a Public Trust level required.
