Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional product and business initiatives that support Air Distribution Technologies' strategic objectives. This role serves as a critical link between Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Business Systems teams to ensure projects are successfully delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality and business requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise, organizational skills, and stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to lead complex initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with the product management, operation, business system and engineering teams to determine when projects meet the appropriate criteria to require a project manager.
  • Facilitate meetings with product management, plants, finance, procurement, business system, sales and engineering to develop detailed project plans including scope, goals, timelines, deliverables and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Communicate tasks, schedules and updates to cross-functional team and internal stakeholders .
  • Lead phase gate exit meetings and facilitate approval process.
  • Assess requested scope changes and facilitate discussions for approval.
  • Oversee the release of design validation orders and communicate requirements to production facilities to support shipping schedules.
  • Provide ship dates and updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Travel to production facilities to drive project deliverables and ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Conduct post-mortem evaluations and communicate results and recommendations.
  • Continuously provide feedback to improve project management best practices and contribute to documenting processes and methodologies.
  • Maintain clear and thorough records of all project communication including maintaining project boards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We Look For:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 2+ years of product application, project management or related experience, preferably in the HVAC or machinery manufacturing industry
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, at least five years of relevant experience in project management or HVAC industry
  • Experience in phase gate project management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites as needed.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
